Bands Reply
If you’re here, it probably means that you are in a band that people like. It also means that a fan asked you a question through Twitter regarding your music.
Remember when you were young and you wanted to be like your favorite rockstar? And how you wished you could reach out to them about your passion of music?
That’s TwitterView.
Take a look at the “tweet” tab to the left. It’s a Twitter reply system, it will reply to your fan just by typing in your answer. Be funny, be serious, be brief, or break up the tweet into more than one post if you really wanna nail the answer on the head. Show your fans that you want to help them achieve their dream of songwriting like you once did. Inspire them, teach them, or whatever.
All you have to do is find his/her post on there, and hit reply.
(Feel like answering the questions in the comfort of your own Twitter page/app? Just make sure you include the #indieview hashtag at the end of the post as well as the @name of the fan.)
That’s it! Your fan will receive the answer, and your reply will pop-up on the tab to the left, and on the sidebar to the right. Have fun!
P.S. – If you have a good answer, I will feature it on the site. So stay golden, pony boy. Stay golden.
Fans Ask
Sick of reading interviews with questions that don’t concern you?
Ever wanted to know how Jim Eno of Spoon’s drum beats are so simple, yet so complicated? Or how Sufjan Stevens is able to layer instruments so flawlessly? Now you can ask your favorite bands the questions that you want to ask using Twitter, and get responses from the artists’ Twitter account.
Click the “tweets” tab to the left, then ask a question including the band’s name or Twitter name, including the @. They will see the question and reply back, using the #indieview hashtag. If they don’t reply back, we will use your question in an upcoming interview, citing your Twitter name.
So let’s run through the multiple ways this works.
1. Post with your question, the artist’s twitter name, and the #indieview hashtag:
ex. – “i wonder how @markhoppus writes such catchy chorus melodies. what’s my age again is timeless. #indieview”
Mark will see it in his Twitter, come to this site and answer you.
2. If you want your favorite artist interviewed on IndieView, just ask us by replying to @indieviewTV on your Twitter page or tweets to the left.
